Do not say "git saves only the changes"
this is formally incorrect. When a change is made to a file, git stores a whole new copy of the file. It does not just "store the diffs".
I think this can be improved by just not saying anything about git only saving the changes.
It is however correct that git will not save new copies of files that have not changed.
