Less expensive tests of symmetric modes

The sizes of matrices in some of the tests for symmetric modes were somewhat extreme, causing the tests to run slow. I've reduced them in size, and verified that the 'expensive' algorithm to generate particle-hole symmetric TRIM modes when the particle-hole operator squares to -1 is still tested.
