Problem printing exams
I cannot print the pdf-files created by zesje (0.4.6) with my macbook on campus. I have a new Macbook Pro (M1 Pro chip, Monterey 12.0.1). I had some issues with installing printer drivers, but I can print the participant list, so I think my printer driver is working properly. However, if I try to print a pdf generated by zesje (using preview) I get an error message from the printer:
ERROR: undefined
OFFENDING COMMAND: ‰ i- j
STACK:

Note that I can print the same file using a windows computer. Could this be a zesje-issue?
Hmm, further investigation reveals it is a Latex-issue. (I had only printed other non-latex files before). I'll close it as it is not zesje-related.
EDIT The problem seems to be that under Monterey preview cannot print certain Latex-fonts including the standard computer modern. Solutions:
- Use a different font: add \usepackage{lmodern} in the pre-amble fixes the issue. [tested by me]
- Use Adobe Reader to print [unverified by me]
- Use an inkjet printer [unverified by me]
- Convert the file using pdf2ps and then ps2pdf [unverified by me]
